SolNegre – The Collective

SolNegre is a melodic Doom/Death Metal collective from the Balearic Islands, Spain.
The project was founded by Gebre and Rigel, bandmates since 1995 and founding members of the Doom Metal sextet Helevorn. In this new chapter they are joined by Tomeu Crespí (Golgotha) and Miguel Serra. SolNegre draws its musical inspiration from the pioneers of 1990s Doom/Death Metal.
SolNegre (/ˈsɔɫnə.ɣɾə/) is the vessel through which we channel our creative impulses and our darkest thoughts. This kind of aggressive, melancholic and atmospheric music is our natural language — a way to express not only how we feel, but who we truly are, in essence.
SolNegre extends beyond a fixed lineup. It is conceived as a collective — a core of musicians expanded by collaborators who contribute to each work, shaping an evolving and dynamic artistic identity. Guest musicians, additional voices and instrumental contributions are not external additions, but an essential part of the creative process, reinforcing the emotional and atmospheric depth of each composition.
SolNegre is conceived as a conceptual studio-based project devoted to the creation of albums. The band does not perform live, as each release is intended to be experienced as a complete work within the album format, where ideas, atmospheres and emotions can fully take shape.
