Formed in 2022 in the Spanish Balearic Islands by a group of seasoned and experienced musicians, SolNegre’s music is something that comes directly from the band members’ hearts. For them, their music is an essential expression of their true selves, an honest representation of everything they are and all that their lives have encompassed – all the doubt and anxiety, grief and pain that society dictates we should keep hidden behind our socially acceptable, superficial, smiling masks. Their debut album, The Spiral Labyrinth, was released in 2023 by Meuse Music Records and was embraced by fans and critics alike, with Broken Tomb Magazine describing it as a ‘downpour of sadness, drama and anger’. An independently released EP, Annihilation Of The Self, followed in 2024 with the wave of support for SolNegre continuing to grow – No Clean Singing embracing this release as something ‘to keep coming back to again and again’.
